Nima Hashemi is a theater, cinema and television director and producer born on December 13, 1999 in Tehran. Her mother is from Tabriz and her father is from Karaj, and she has only one sister.
Hashemi began her artistic career at the age of 12 and continues to do so today.
Starting her acting career to directing:
Nima Hashemi had a great interest in directing and acting since she was a child. At the age of 11, she took an acting course with Majid Zarezadeh in Karaj. After that, she studied with Alireza Khamseh and received her free acting degree. Then, at the age of 12, because she could not get a job or a role anywhere, she entered the theater as a preparation. After that, she became the fourth assistant director. This story continued and she was present behind the scenes of many works until she got her first role in the play Toward Honor, where she played the role of a statue without dialogue and was only motionless and still. After that, a year later, she became the first assistant director in the play You Are Right and got a small role with only one dialogue. After that, she entered the cinema as an assistant director. After gradually, after assisting in many prestigious projects, she was able to get supporting roles. After gaining a lot of experience in directing, she made her first official work called Nazanin the Doctor, which was performed in the Neuflochatto mansion, which is one of the most prestigious in Tehran. It was here that Nima Hashemi became known as "Iran's youngest director" and after that she did many great works with actors.
